DNA Registration Guidelines:

To ensure accurate pedigree documentation, the Irish Draught and Sport Horse Society of Australia Inc. (IDSHS) has implemented mandatory DNA testing for all horse registrations. Here’s a clear and concise explanation of the process:

Step One: DNA Testing

DNA testing is mandatory for all horses being registered with IDSHS, including geldings.
If you own a mare that is Irish Sport Horse Registered or Studbook Registered (RID, AID, SID) with IDSHS and does not have a DNA profile on record, DNA testing is required if you plan to register her foal.

DNA Kit Ordering:

Please fill in the information below and complete the payment.
Each DNA kit costs $80. Depending on your horse’s registration requirements, you may need more than one kit. (eg. the foal and the ISH dam who does not have a DNA profile on record)
Payment for the DNA kit can be made via Credit Card. If you prefer a bank transfer, kindly contact us for further instructions.
